Good to know
-
Hot Yoga can be practiced 1 class per weekand up to everyday.
Some of us have practiced hot yoga every week for the past 5, 10 or 20 years.
-
It takes 3 to 10 classes before you feel the true magic. Sometimes only 1 class may not give you the intented experience.
-
The classes are usually 60 minutes—55 minutes worth of movement and 5 minutes of pure relaxation. You can stay in the room longer to relax if you wish to.
-
All the classes are made for all levels. You can do it regardless of your size, shape, age, and gender. See class descriptions on the Schedule Page
-
You don’t need to be flexible already to practice Hot Yoga. In fact, you practice Hot Yoga to get flexible!
-
The classes are all taught in English.
There is usually background music during the practice.
Some days you will feel fatigued, AND some days you will feel strong, that is normal and completely understood.
It's natural to have varying energy levels; some days you might feel strong, others fatigued. Exiting the yoga hall once the class has begun is generally not permitted, except in rare emergencies.
It's important to remain in the yoga hall for the entire session to maintain the class environment and respect others' practices.
Take it easy anytime you like, if you need to ease your pace in either of these postures.

Frozen Face Towel
FROZEN FACE TOWEL
After each hot yoga session, our instructor will offer a chilled face towel, infused with soothing essential oils. This is a voluntary comfort; if you wish to receive one, simply place a hand on your stomach to signal your interest.
This towel, delightfully cold, is designed to cool your central nervous system and eyes, while providing a tranquil darkness for deeper relaxation.
This service does not cost extra.
-
Class Starting
Classes begin promptly, and our front door locks 5 minutes before start time; late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
As a sign of respect and tradition, students are encouraged to sit up when the teacher enters the yoga hall.
While personal practice before and after class is welcome, please focus solely on the class instruction once it begins, unless otherwise specified in the schedule.
-
Class Ending
Each class typically involves 55 minutes of active movement and 7-10 minutes of Shavasana, or 'Dead Body Pose', for relaxation and restoration. Note that class durations can vary slightly, sometimes finishing a bit earlier or later than anticipated.
During Shavasana, lying calmly on your back with shoulders relaxed and palms up aids in cooling down and maximizing practice benefits.
As the teacher is the first to leave the hall, please stay relaxed and unhurried, allowing yourself to fully embrace this tranquil moment.
Exiting the class early is not allowed for any reason.

Enjoy the Yoga Hall
Our studio stands out in Copenhagen for its unique open-door policy. After your yoga session, feel free to linger in the yoga hall or lounge areas for as long as you desire.
This flexibility allows you ample time to cool down, meditate, or simply enjoy the tranquil atmosphere at your own pace. We believe in providing a space that accommodates your personal journey and wellness routine, ensuring you leave feeling completely refreshed and centered.
-
Hydration & Nutrition
Ensure you are well-hydrated before and after the class.
We advise against eating 2 hours prior to the session. Eating too close to class time can lead to discomfort and may cause disturbances like feeling bloated or gassy during practice. It's best to come with an empty stomach to enjoy a more comfortable and focused yoga experience.
If you're feeling hungover or intoxicated, attending class might be particularly challenging.
