Handstand and Arm Balance Yoga Workshop
Every Sunday at 15:00-17:00 in September, October and November we offer Handstand and Arm Balance Yoga Workshops with Anna Herceg-Radin!
The workshops are both suitable for beginners who want to learn how to balance on their arms and those who are already working on handstand but want to improve, maintain, explore and play with what they know.
Practicing handstand and other arm balance poses require a lot of body awareness, strength, mobility and control. It is a process of discovering your own body and overcoming fears in order to gain the confidence it takes which we are here to help you accomplish.
Anna will teach different poses that prepare you for and improve your arm balance poses, different techniques to transition safely in and out of poses and most importantly how to enjoy the process.
She will go through poses such as:
- Side crow
- One legged crow
- L-sit, tuck handstand
- Pike handstand
- Wide handstand
- Dolphin plank pose
- Plank, side plank
- Eight ankle pose
- One-arm leg plank
- Flying Pigeon
- One footed pose (eka pada koundinyasana 1 and 2)
- Forearm stand
+ All other variations.
Every workshop goes together with special servings and community vibes so be ready to find new connections and spend your Sunday afternoons at its best.
The yoga courses are on a drop-in basis (you can pay below). Therefore, you have the freedom to join as you like. The workshops are held in a non-heated environment.
